Symmetry is a fundamental part of geometry, nature, and shapes. It helps children create patterns that helps them  organize their world conceptually. We see symmetry every day but often don't realize it.

By taking part in a range of symmetrical provocations, our children of Nursery are developing the core understanding of what it is, so that they can build on this understanding in the future.
