Capt. Rohit Sen Bajaj
A thoughtful, dynamic educator and administrator, Capt. Rohit Sen Bajaj brings to Pathways School Gurgaon (PSG) rich experience in leading curricular and programmatic change in schools. Capt Bajaj’s goal at the administrative level has always been to create educational experiences that awaken young minds to their personal sense of mission and purpose. Capt. Rohit Sen Bajaj aspires to an education that is a transformation and not a mere transaction; an education that is preparation for a lifetime of learning. His ideal education is one that inculcates in students the knowledge, skills, values, and competencies of a lifelong learner. In a rapidly changing world, students need to learn to be adaptable, creative, collaborative, open minded and innovative, in addition to acquiring traditional academic knowledge. Capt Bajaj believes it is not sufficient to educate students who are going to be academically brilliant, nail every standardised test and get great transcripts, but also enable students to be resilient, self-confident, able to handle adversity, uncertainty, or ambiguity, who can learn to navigate a new and challenging situation and thus his commitment to social, emotional, and ethical learning (SEEL) – to educate and nurture the whole person.
Under Rohit’s leadership, Pathways School Gurgaon (PSG)continues to implement the Primary Years Programme (IB PYP), Middle Years Programme (IB MYP), Diploma Programme (IB DP) and now the Career- related Programme (IB CP) PSG also holds dual international school accreditation. Since 2014, PSG has received accredited member status from two premier accreditation organizations, the Council of International Schools (CIS) in Europe and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) in the United States. Thus, PSG’s philosophy, governance, curriculum, resources, staffing, and operations meet rigorous standards set by these internationally recognized agencies.
As an internationally recognized educational leader in India, Rohit was IB Recognition Ambassador, an authorized IBEN - Evaluation Leader, for IBDP schools across the world, President of Association for Heads of IB World Schools India and Chair for North India Association of IB School Heads. CIS and NEASC accreditation visiting team member for International Schools and is also member of Association of Indian Universities (AIU) committee for developing Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for grant of equivalence to the Foreign Boards operating in India.
Having served in the Indian Army for 5 years prior to his calling into the world of education, Rohit has an impeccable sense of commitment, duty, and responsibility. Armed with a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Master’s in History, Bachelor’s in Education amongst others, Rohit’s education career started with the Doon school going on to serve his alma mater the Lawrence School Sanawar. His unique style and all-encompassing attitude towards modern day education led him in the year 2008 to head Oakridge International School in Hyderabad.
Leading large IB schools of Asia in a position of trust and working in diverse cultural and political environments while exploring the National and IB programme pathways to create an IB ecosystem and an inclusive Learning Community for a decade and a half in the South and North of India (IBAP) has been one of his most incredible learning experiences. The opportunities Capt. Bajaj, discovered and cultivated through the roles of IBEN, CIS (Council of International Schools) and NEASC (New England Association of Schools and Colleges) evaluator are innovative, strategic and purpose driven.
A thorough professional with rich, in-depth and extensive experience in the educational arena, a distinguished gentleman with deep-rooted values and ethics, a culturally inclined individual, with an admirable sense of social responsibility and progressive in thought- Capt Rohit Sen Bajaj carries the Pathways legacy.

Dear Parents,
Greetings from Pathways School Gurgaon!
I am delighted to welcome you to the new academic year 2023-24. I would like to express my immense gratitude and appreciation for your support in making the year gone by a resounding success.
We closed the year with the remarkable Festival of HOPE, a groundbreaking event in collaboration with the International Baccalaureate (IB). PSG was chosen and had the privilege of hosting the festival, bringing together students and school heads from 38 schools across India. The festival ignited young minds, inspired dialogue, and fostered meaningful connections. We were honored by the presence of esteemed guests, including Haryana Education Minister Mr Kanwar Pal Gurjar and IB Director General Mr Olli-Pekka Heinonen.
The success of the Festival and the signing of an MoU between Haryana School Education Board (BSEH) and IB at PSG, have set the stage for our chosen theme for this year: "Hope and Harmony."
As we embark on this new academic year, our commitment to providing an excellent and exceptional education remains unwavering. Our faculty is back at school and our professional development workshops are in full swing. We are excited to welcome new team members who bring valuable expertise to our school community.
