Ek Pehchan—One Identity—is perhaps the most awaited event held at Pathways School Gurgaon and as calming music played in the foreground, students from schools in nearby states trickled into the school’s library to celebrate identity. While the ceremonial lamp lighting, our emcees of the day, Sarthak and Adhiveer, gave insight on its significance to capture the essence of new beginnings and invoke a sense of gratitude within us all.  

To offer a warm welcome to School Director Captain Rohit Sen Bajaj, Senior School Principal Ms. Sangeeta Nag, our esteemed judges, and the enthusiastic participants, the ceremony began with a dance rooted in culture (that is, an integral part of one’s identity) that inspired hope within us all. Afterwards, a formal welcome was given by the School Director. He talked of having hope and expression as vitalities that are to be explored responsibly in global and, he stressed, local capacities.  

Following a brief from our emcees regarding the various verticals, our esteemed judges were called on stage for facilitation. Then one by one, each judge spoke a few words about hope, their thoughts heavily rooted on its connect to their own craft. 

Empowered by the various perspectives on the differing facets of hope, participants were then escorted to each venue to delve into a world of hope, solidarity, and harmony.
