Every year, Pathways School Gurgaon's diploma program hosts Pehel, a special day dedicated to expressing gratitude and giving back to the unsung heroes of our community: the didis and bhaiyas. These individuals are the backbone of Pathways, taking care of various aspects of our daily lives, from maintaining the impeccable cleanliness of our surroundings to ensuring we're well-fed. Some of them safely escort us to school, while others provide essential support in our classrooms. The event featured six modules carefully designed to offer valuable knowledge and support to our didis and bhaiyas, covering a wide range of topics to make the day both educational and beneficial for them.

Our program was all about uplifting our community members. We celebrated the power of good communication by improving English skills, which opens doors to exciting opportunities. In today's digital age, we made sure that everyone had the chance to embrace technology with basic skills. We also prioritised the well-being of our didis, offering essential knowledge and resources for women's health and hygiene, while promoting good hygiene practices for everyone. We added a touch of creativity through art, providing a way for everyone to express themselves and find joy. Lastly, we shared the wisdom of financial literacy, empowering individuals to take control of their financial futures. It was an incredibly enriching experience for both us and our didis and bhaiyas. We gained valuable insights into their lives, and they, in turn, learned from us as well.

It's important to emphasise that weeks of meticulous planning went into tailoring each module to the specific needs of our didis and bhaiyas. The event wasn't just about giving back but also about empowering them with the tools and knowledge they need to improve their lives and futures. Pehel 2023 was a testament to the compassion and commitment of our DP students and a heartwarming celebration of our dedicated didis and bhaiyas.
