World Read Aloud Day celebration in PYP 1 on February 7th was a resounding success, showcasing the students' enthusiasm and autonomy in their learning journey. The highlight was their ability to choose from a carefully curated selection of five diverse books by world-famous author Julia Donalson for the read-aloud session. This choice not only promoted a genuine love for literature but also played a pivotal role in enhancing their listening skills. By actively participating in the selection process, the students not only engaged with the content but also developed valuable skills in communication and decision-making, fostering independence and a sense of ownership.
