Building on the school theme of the year Human Flourishing, PYP 5 commenced with the?advisory?lessons with the students in the new academic year. Strengthening the social emotional connect, the?advisory?lessons this week focussed on the on their ‘Glows and Grows’ in PYP 5. The students discussed their areas of comfort and areas of improvement in the grade. The session also addressed their worries and apprehensions . The teacher fostered a supportive environment where students could openly share their thoughts. By acknowledging their views, the teachers provided personalized guidance to help students navigate their learning journeys and thus build confidence. This approach aimed to support their emotional well-being and academic growth thereby build a scaffolded environment for them to flourish.
