Independence is important to us because it serves as a reminder of the freedom we sometimes take for granted. Being independent involves being free to speak our opinions, making decisions, and bravely pursuing our goals. Our ability to develop, learn, and confront the world while appreciating the worth of our own beliefs is what gives us freedom. More than simply a set of rights, freedom encompasses a responsibility to utilise those rights responsibly, respect the freedoms of others, and have a good influence on our society and country. We remember the people who gave their lives to protect our independence on this Independence Day, and we are motivated to uphold the principles of justice, equality, and harmony in our daily lives.
