Finally the time has come!! One the student’s favourite time of the year- Festival of Hope, hosted by our school- Pathways school Gurgaon. This vibrant event celebrates the bringing and collaboration of students from various schools across India like The Shri Ram School Moulsari, Shiv Nadar School Noida, Jayshree Periwal International School, Pathways Aravalli, Pathways Noida, Lancers, DPSI and more. This dynamic event serves as a platform for young minds to foster a diverse and inclusive student environment within each other, through different verticals and subjects taken place showcasing their true expressions and identities. By these verticals students had the chance to create intellectual relationships and a broader mindset inclusively.? 

Here is a sneak peek of the 11 verticals, with other highlighted events as well, though this will just give a glance of a small percent of how AMAZING and Enriching this festival was.? 

- Robongiers (Robotics Competition): Get ready to unleash your inner engineer at Robongiers! This inter-school robotics competition invites teams to design, build, and program their own robots to tackle challenges and showcase their innovative solutions. Collaborating and exhibiting teamwork through several ways of creativity and exploration.? 

- Astitva – (A Collaborative Talk on Identity): Astitva offers a unique space for students to engage in meaningful discussions about identity. This talk invites students to express their real identity, their real beauty, their real selves. Adapting acceptance and broadening our ways of thinking, It’s a beautiful opportunity to explore and celebrate our differences.? 

- Locked Heads 5.0 (Meaningful Debate): Step into the arena of ideas with Locked Heads! Locked-Heads has been a legacy as an event in Pathways, consistently earning positions to share individual ideas. This inter-school debate competition challenges students to think critically and articulate their views on pressing issues.? 

- Artists in Residence (A splash of an art workshop): From just a pile of stoneware clay to a vase, a black canvas to a landscape fulfilled with colours, you may find it all in this workshop! Finally, a workshop for students to showcase their thoughts and learnings through sculpting, visualizing our uniqueness?

- Sports: The sports vertical promises good energy burning activities, so trust me for all you parents- let your child eat a good calory full meal of their choice tonight at dinner! The sports vertical group enhanced student partnership, team building skills, sportsman of our young panthers.? 

- Open Mic: The open mic session really enables students to express and showcase their thoughts through comedy, music and verbal literature. This platform celebrates individuality and creativity, encouraging participants to express themselves freely, remember – “LOUD AND PROUD!”? 

- Fortissimo (Battle of the Bands): Music finally comes to life! From classical to pop genres, Fortissimo welcomes it all! Singing your lungs out in the amphitheatre, showcasing students talents through creativity and confidence.? 

- Global Rhythms (Dance): Join Global Rhythms to experience the power of movement! This dance competition invites students to express themselves through various dance styles, blending cultures and genres in a vibrant fusion of dance. From classical to contemporary, they did it all!! Displaying the diverse talents in our student community.? 

- Author Session: Dive into the chapters of writing styles and literature- all discovered during our Author Session. This interactive experience let our future authors collaborate and share experiences with literature skill building, guaranteeing to come out with memorable journeys and learnings. A fantastic opportunity for aspiring writers to gain insights and share their passion for storytelling.? 

- Model United Nations (MUN): Participate in simulated global discussions, enhancing diplomatic skills and understanding of international relations. Critically analysing and engaging in digging solutions for ongoing global issues. Understanding what really is going on right now around us in the world, creating a principal and aware student community.? 

- Pannel Discussion: Engage with thought leaders in the Panel Discussion segment, where experts will address various issues and share their insights. This informative session encourages students to think critically about the world surrounding them and the role they play in shaping it.? 

- Ek Pechaan (showcasing identity and talent): With 11 verticals fulfilling the student environment in MYP, how can we forget Ek Pechaan!? Our iconic event taken place in the DP/CP area, showcasing student’s talents and identities through the most unique and creative ways. This segment celebrates the uniqueness of each participant, allowing them to shine in their own light. Scotish High School being the overall winners of Ek Pechaan events like-? 

· Pathartways: An intersection of art and education, this segment invites students to explore how creativity impacts learning.? 

· TechDisrupt: A space for tech enthusiasts to showcase innovative projects and ideas that could reshape our future.? 

· CreativeIns and Linguistique: Engage in language and creative writing workshops that foster communication skills and artistic expression.? 

In conclusion, FOH 2024 was an enlightening and enriching experience for students to build skills and engage in become lifelong learners. This is more than just an event—it's a celebration of the vibrant spirit that lives within each of us. As students come together from across India, they weave a tapestry of creativity and collaboration towards the essence of hope. Through every performance, debate, artwork, and innovation, the festival stands as a proof to the power of unity.
